2023 FINALS VENUES ANNOUNCED
The McDonalds Maryborough Castlemaine DFNL is excited to announce finals venues to complete the 2023 season.
Following a highly successful finals series in 2022. excitement is building towards a finals series that will see the Grand final, again, hosted at Princes Park.
A competitive football and netball finals series will commence Saturday 26th & 27th of August and culminate with the Grand Final at Princes Park on Saturday 16th September.
In a historic event, The MCDFNL will be taking finals back to Castlemaine for the first time in many years with Qualifying Final 1 and Elimination Final 1 held at Camp Reserve in Castlemaine. Qualifying Final 2 and Elimination Final 2 held at Newstead Reserve.
Highlights of the final’s series include:
- All 14 clubs will feature across week 1 of the Finals Series
- Camp Reserve and Newstead Reserve will host for the first time in recent memory.
- In excess of 20,000 people to attend across all competitions during the final’s series.
Through the support of McDonalds Maryborough and finals naming partners Bendigo Bank, the Maryborough Castlemaine DFNL can present top level football and netball from the highest level across the region.
